Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (associates preferred)
• With an associates degree, minimum 1 year paid experience in behavioral health care; with a high school diploma, 2 years paid experience may substitute
• CBHT certification required within time frame per policy; Bachelor's may substitute

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate accounting of all medications and proper medication records.
• Distributes medications to clients and reports issues to supervisor.
• Assists clients with daily living skills (laundry, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, budgeting).
• Performs housekeeping duties to maintain living quarters.
• Participates in development and maintenance of behavioral programs and conducts counseling sessions.
• Maintains client-related documentation and logs; participates in team meetings and case reviews.
• Responds to crisis situations using appropriate intervention.
• Maintains communications with outside agencies and family members as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
