Job summary

Harmony Health Group seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support the Facility Director and treatment staff in daily operations and patient care. The BHT assists with intake procedures, safety monitoring, rounds, and medication handling within state and federal standards.

Responsibilities include supervising patients, ensuring adherence to clinical schedules, transporting clients when needed with proper licensing, and reporting safety issues promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and training requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with clear driving record as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patients during daily activities and report issues to the treatment team.
• Ensure patients follow clinical schedules and safety protocols.
• Transport clients when required with safety checks and licenses in order.
• Document medications observed and report any irregularities to supervisors.
• Conduct rounds and maintain facility safety and clean environment.
• Complete required trainings and participate in in-services as assigned.
• Identify and report suspected abuse, neglect, or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Engage with community resources and coordinate with treatment teams as needed.
