Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, unless state requirements apply.
• Current CNA certification or at least 6 months of bedside patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports unit rules compliance.
• Uses de-escalation and therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Inventories patient belongings and secures contraband; performs safety checks.
• Adheres to infection control policies and participates in in-services.
• Provides patient care under supervision; records vital signs, weights, ADL, and nutrition data for nurses.
