Job summary

TeamCare Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-to-one support for children and adolescents, following individualized treatment plans to help them succeed in school, community, and home settings.

The role involves data collection, ongoing training, and collaboration with families and the treatment team to meet goals, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time arrangements in Lancaster County, PA.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications.
• Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances required or obtainable.
• Valid PA Driver's license and auto insurance.
• Passion for patient care and making positive changes in someone's life.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom/community/home environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
• Collect daily data and document progress in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
• Complete initial and annual training as required.
• Collaborate with client, family, and all other assigned team members to ensure compliance.

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role:

• Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive changes in someone's life
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications
• Must possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances
• Valid PA Driver's license and auto insurance
