Job summary

TEAMCare Behavioral Health LLC is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to provide one-to-one support to children and adolescents according to individualized treatment plans. The role focuses on teaching classroom, community, and home skills, with data collection after each session.

Responsibilities include implementing interventions in behavior management, collecting progress data, and collaborating with families and team members to ensure treatment plan goals are met.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
• Must possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.
• Valid PA driver's license and auto insurance.

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom/community/home environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist.
• Collect daily data and document progress in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.
• Complete initial and annual training as required.
• Collaborate with client, family, and all other assigned team members to ensure compliance.

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) role:

• Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive changes in someone's life

• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications
• Must possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances
• Valid PA Driver's license and auto insurance
