Cottonwood Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensure that the schedule is delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
• 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsabilidades

• Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.
• Work within a trauma-informed, team-centered culture and contribute to ongoing patient care and program delivery.

Cottonwood Springs is a 108-bed behavioral health facility offering adult mental health and substance use treatment services. The facility includes four 24-bed units (Meadows, Sunrise, Cedars, and Prairie) and one 12-bed unit (Sunflower), specializing in depression, anxiety, psychosis, thought disorders, and substance detoxification.

Cottonwood Springs fosters a trauma-informed, team-centered culture where RNs and BHTs work collaboratively and are equally valued. What we're looking for
