Job summary

Cottonwood Springs, a Lifepoint Health facility, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech for the night shift. This 3x12 schedule (7p-7a) with rotating weekends supports adult mental health and substance use treatment in a 108-bed unit. You will work under RN direction to maintain a therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN.
• Ensure schedule/program delivery and patient supervision.
• Maintain safety and treat patients and guests with respect and dignity.
• Collaborate with RN and care team to support recovery.

Cottonwood Springs is a 108-bed behavioral health facility offering adult mental health and substance use treatment services. The facility includes four 24-bed units (Meadows, Sunrise, Cedars, and Prairie) and one 12-bed unit (Sunflower), specializing in depression, anxiety, psychosis, thought disorders, and substance detoxification.

Cottonwood Springs fosters a trauma-informed, team-centered culture where RNs and BHTs work collaboratively and are equally valued. What we're looking for
