About Your Role

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents aged 2-24 with serious emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. Under the guidance of the Behavioral Consultant, you will help improve independent, age-appropriate functioning, aiming for reduced or no service intervention. Your daily responsibilities include traveling to clients' homes, schools, or service locations, following prescribed treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions and consequences. You will set boundaries to prevent dependency, support parents and professionals, and educate and train families to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and culturally competent services.

Eligibility Requirements

Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances, and at least one of the following:

• Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT
• Two years of prior Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization
• High School diploma or equivalent with completion of the 40-hour RBT Training (or ability to complete within the first 10 days of hire, paid training)
• Minimum of 2 years experience providing Behavioral Health services
