The Purpose of Your Role

The Behavioral Health Technician I supports clients' safety and effective functioning, promotes quality standards, and collaborates with the team and supervisor to ensure fidelity to treatment, company policies, and client satisfaction.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Zero documentation errors weekly
  • Facility audit score of 90%
  • 5-7 hours daily active facilitation/support
  • Mastery of BHT competencies within 30-60 days
  • Live OAC values positively within the community
  • Reduce early discharges by at least 10% and maintain an average length of stay of 52 days
Competencies
  • Understanding of client systems, disorder modules, EMR system, youth safety, behavioral plans, group facilitation, crisis response, de-escalation, inventory management, telehealth, documentation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Engage clients clinically, assist with skill development, and document progress
  • Maintain professional, helpful, and caring treatment environment
  • Monitor daily activities, implement treatment plans, and manage resources
  • Facilitate groups, manage documentation, and ensure safety and compliance
  • Support team engagement, ongoing learning, and uphold company values

  • Some college or related experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with OCD, anxiety, or trauma
