We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at our programs in York, PA.

Position Details

Behavioral Health Technicians provide one-on-one interventions to children or adolescents at home, school, and/or community settings when such interventions are necessary to avoid more restrictive treatment or educational placements.

Work Location(s): School, community, or home settings

  • Works one-on-one with clients
  • Implements behavior modification treatment plans based on psychological evaluations, developed by senior team members, tailored to the setting based on medical necessity
  • Utilizes prescribed interventions when problematic behaviors occur, targeting antecedents, behavioral/teaching strategies, consequences, reinforcement techniques, and psychosocial activities as prescribed
  • Models and implements intervention techniques for treatment team members and supports family efforts to stabilize the child or adolescent, transferring skills to caregivers and teachers for successful discharge
  • Collaborates with all treatment team members and professionals in home or community settings, including families
  • Documents behavioral and program data during sessions and maintains progress notes per regulatory and program requirements
  • Maintains contact with the treatment team and submits weekly payroll and required county-specific paperwork
  • Receives scheduled supervision from an assigned clinical supervisor
  • Attends required training and completes the necessary hours annually
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Earn: $16.00

Hours: 20-25 weekly
