We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, located in Vienna, Virginia, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Vienna, VA?

Centria Health seeks Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. Responsibilities include implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct supervisor. You will build trust within the child's home environment, which is within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce interfering behaviors.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children through physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
