We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Manassas, Virginia, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) living in Manassas, VA?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families affected by autism. Responsibilities include implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct supervisor. You will build trust and rapport with the child and family in their home, located within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce interfering behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support at the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, including physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children through physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
