Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide intensive mental health interventions for children and families in Phoenix-area settings (home, school, camps).

This hourly, part-time role implements treatment goals as part of an interdisciplinary team and monitors progress with healthcare professionals. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in Human Services, 2+ years in behavioral health, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and an EHR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Services is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health services or related certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with an EHR system.

Summary of the Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a non-traditional way of providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in a variety of community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families. This is an hourly, part time position.

• Provide individualized mental health interventions and support services in various community settings (e.g., in the home, at school, camps, daycares, etc.)
• Implement specific treatment goals as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Monitor and document behaviors and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Flexible schedule, based around the availability of youth and families served.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Services.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health services or Behavioral Health Certification, Behavior Analysis Certification, or Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an electronic health record (EHR)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible Schedule; Evenings and Weekend may be required
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, current auto insurance coverage is required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills is a plus.
