Job summary

Oakwood Springs in Oklahoma City is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to join our nights team. The role supports the therapeutic milieu under the RN, ensures safe supervision, and helps deliver the schedule and programs.

You should have a high school diploma (preferred), a valid driver's license, CPR and CPI training within 30 days, and be at least 21. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, that safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.

What we're looking for

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

License: Will require valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle

Certification: CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact

Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact

Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required

Where applicable, must obtain and maintain agency affiliation

Minimum Work Experience

Previous experience in a psychiatric health facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred

Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age
