Oakwood Springs in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech III to join our inpatient behavioral health unit. This full-time role operates on a 3x12 schedule (7am–7pm) and supports the therapeutic milieu under RN supervision to ensure safety, patient supervision, and respectful care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification within 30 days, CPI training, and a valid driver's license.

A Behavioral Health Tech who excels in this role:

Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, that safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.

What we're looking for

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• License: Will require valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle
• Certification: CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
• Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required
• Where applicable, must obtain and maintain agency affiliation

Minimum Work Experience

Previous experience in a psychiatric health facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred

Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age
