Embark Behavioral Health is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to support adolescents in a treatment setting. You will work with licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, and therapeutic engagement in a trauma-informed approach.

The role emphasizes de-escalation, debriefing, and collaboration with clinical teams to promote recovery and skill-building for teens in a structured, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with HS diploma or GED; degree in human services preferred.
• 1+ year in behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services is preferred.
• Willingness for CPR/First Aid and physical intervention training.
• Able to stand, move quickly, and support crisis stabilization.
• Pass background and drug screening per Missouri law.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate group activities (art, music, recreation) to build coping skills.
• Provide behavioral support, mentoring, and structured routines.
• Use evidence-based, trauma-informed care techniques.
• Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Respond to escalations using safe intervention protocols.

Overview

Location: 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058 Pay: $19.00 – $22 an hour Schedule Options:

• Wednesday to Saturday
  • 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Join amission-driven, trauma-informed, patient-centeredteam supporting adolescents (12–17) inmental health treatment, recovery, and life-skills development. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you’ll partner with licensed clinicians to providedirect patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement.
