Embark Behavioral Health in Independence, MO seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to work with adolescents (12–17) under licensed clinicians, providing direct patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with HS diploma/GED.
• 1+ year in behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services.
• Willingness for CPR/First Aid, physical intervention training.
• Ability to stand, move quickly, and support crisis stabilization.
• Must pass background and drug screening per MO law.
• Bonus for prior mental health or youth experience.

Responsibilities

Location: 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058Pay: $19.00 – $22an hourSchedule Options:

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Shift Options:

• 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM

As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you’ll partner with licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, de‑escalation, and therapeutic engagement.
