Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to join a mission-driven, trauma-informed team supporting adolescents (12–17) in mental health treatment, recovery, and life-skills development. You’ll partner with licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with HS diploma or GED.
• 1+ year in behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services preferred.
• Willingness for CPR/First Aid; physical intervention training provided.
• Ability to stand, move quickly, and support crisis stabilization.
• Background and drug screening per MO law.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group activities (art, music, recreation) to build coping skills.
• Provide behavioral support, mentoring, and structured routines.
• Use evidence-based, trauma-informed care techniques.
• Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Respond to escalations using safe intervention protocols.

Shift Options

• 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM
