Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Sycamore Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for an evening shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) on an every-other-weekend rotation. You will support patients with daily living activities and assist with care, therapeutic interventions, and monitoring under nursing supervision.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and preferably a CNA license with at least 1 year of behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required or preferred for patient safety.
• CNA license preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
• Report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Suggest modifications to treatment plan as needed.

Education
