Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (CNA I) to support a 81-bed adult behavioral health unit. You will identify patient needs, provide appropriate care, and document medical information in the chart, assisting with activities of daily living as part of a collaborative care team.
Applicants must hold a CNA I license, complete a NA course, and obtain BLS within 30 days.
Schedule: 3x12+ Nights (7p-7a) rotating weekends/rotating holidays

Join our team in a 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
