Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Maryland is seeking a dedicated staff member for Prince Frederick’s residential program. You will support admissions, transportation, meals, medications, supervision, and phones, ensuring smooth daily operations and safety for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety required.
• Dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medications, supervision, phones).
• Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff.
• Record and enforce any critical communication/incidents in a timely manner.
• Fulfill administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support).
• Oversee all BHTs on your shift and provide training and support.
