Job summary

Community Counseling Center Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the Ridgeway program in Cape Girardeau, MO. The role supports residents with daily living skills, monitors safety, administers medications under policy, and assists during crises.

Salary ranges from $17.38 to $19.78 per hour plus shift differentials; floating BHTs may earn $18.59 to $20.99/hour. Evening and Overnight shifts offer additional pay; full-time and PRN positions are available based on program need.

Qualifications

Job description

Behavioral Health Technician - Ridgeway

Location: Cape Girardeau, MO

Pay: $17.38 - $19.78/hour + shift differentials

Note: Floating BHT is $18.59 - 20.99/hour due to flexibility needs.

Community Counseling Center offer's shift differentials for BHT staff who work an Evening or Overnight shift at its residential facilities.
Evening Shift: + $0.50/hour per hour worked on Evenings.
Overnight Shift: +$1.00/hour per hour worked on Overnights

Shifts Available

Full Time

• Thursday/Friday 3:00pm, Saturday/Sunday 11am - 11pm

Full Time Floating BHT

• Shifts vary depending on program needs
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and overnights

PRN

• Typically 1 shift per week, any shift depending on need and your availability

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED/HSE
• Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance. Must also meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.

Note: The Class E is just a written required computer test. No Driving Test has to be taken for the Class E. Then you would go to the DMV after the test is taken (passed) and transfer the license over to that Class E.

The Ridgeway Program

Ridgeway is a ten bed, all female, Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) that provides a high level of direct service and supports for individuals living with chronic mental health diagnoses (i.e., anxiety, bi-polar, depression, personality disorders, etc.) that often involve severe behavioral and emotional issues resulting in guardianship.
