Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for Ridgeway. The role involves maintaining a safe, trauma-informed environment and assisting with daily living skills, medications, and group activities.

Applicants must have a high school diploma and a MO Class E driver's license; reliable transportation is required. Shifts include full-time floating and PRN with evening/overnight options and applicable shift differentials.

Qualifications

Job description

Behavioral Health Technician – Ridgeway

Location: Cape Girardeau, MO

Pay: $17.38 - $19.78/hour + shift differentials

Note: Floating BHT is $18.59 - 20.99/hour due to flexibility needs.

Community Counseling Center offers shift differentials for BHT staff who work an Evening or Overnight shift at its residential facilities.
Evening Shift: + $0.50/hour per hour worked on Evenings.
Overnight Shift: +$1.00/hour per hour worked on Overnights

Shifts Available

• Full Time Floating BHT
  • Shifts vary depending on program needs
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, and overnights
• PRN
  • Typically 1 shift per week, any shift depending on need and your availability

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED/HSE
• Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance. Must also meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.

Note: The Class E is just a written required computer test. No Driving Test has to be taken for the Class E. Then you would go to the DMV after the test is taken (passed) and transfer the license over to that Class E.

The Ridgeway Program

Ridgeway is a ten bed, all female, Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) that provides a high level of direct service and supports for individuals living with chronic mental health diagnoses (i.e., anxiety, bi‑polar, depression, personality disorders, etc.) that often involve severe behavioral and emotional issues resulting in guardianship.
