Job summary

You work under licensed clinicians, monitor patient status, assist with daily activities, participate in crisis intervention, and document care while upholding HIPAA and patient rights.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare setting.
• De-escalation training certification required within 30 days of hire.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and assists with daily activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitors patient behavior and safety, reports changes to the team.
• Assists in implementing individualized treatment plans under supervision.
• Engages patients in structured activities and coping strategies.
• Responds to crises and follows safety protocols.
• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to HIPAA.
