Qualifikationen

• 0–1 year of experience in behavioral health or healthcare setting.
• Experience with psychiatric disorders, developmental disabilities, or substance use preferred.
• De-escalation training before or within 30 days of hire and BCLS certification within 30 days.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care and assist with daily activities and safety needs (every 15 minutes).
• Observe and report patient behaviors and changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervision of behavioral health professionals.
• Engage patients in structured activities and coping skills training.
• Respond to crisis situations and de-escalate conflicts per facility protocols.
• Maintain a safe environment, conduct room checks, and prevent self-harm/elopement.
• Monitor vital signs, collect specimens, and document data per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to support patient progress.
• Adhere to HIPAA and professional boundaries; educate patients on recovery skills.
