Job summary

Cottonwood Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech for the 7p–7a night shift at our 108-bed facility in Lenexa, KS. Join a trauma-informed, team-centered environment where your compassion supports patient well-being.

As a BHT, you will help deliver the daily schedule, supervise patients, uphold safety, and treat everyone with respect. Opportunities for growth and a supportive team culture are highlighted in our program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in a psychiatric health-care facility and inpatient setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the therapeutic milieu under RN direction and ensure shift programs are delivered.
• Supervise patients, maintain safety, and treat patients and guests with dignity.
• Collaborate with RNs and other staff to promote recovery and structured care.
