Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech III to assist patients through admission to discharge. You will contribute to treatment planning, lead daily groups, and support safety and well-being across shifts.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mental health/substance use fields, plus CPI/CPR certifications or timelines to obtain them. A valid driver’s license and flexible schedule are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or high school diploma preferred with relevant experience.
• CPI/CPR certifications required or to be obtained within stated timelines.
• Experience in mental health/substance use/eating disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients throughout treatment from admission to discharge.
• Lead psychoeducational groups and provide crisis interventions as needed.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with policies.
• Support treatment planning and document shift notes and care activities.

Skills

Two+ years experience in mental health

Customer service focus

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

CPI certification within 90 days of hire

CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 30 days
