Job summary

Foundry Treatment Center Steamboat is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to assist with direct patient care, showing intermediate understanding of substance use and mental health behaviors. You will independently manage patient interactions, support group activities, and help with crisis de-escalation.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in behavioral health or SUD, and CPR/QMAP certifications (or ability to obtain within 30–60 days).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health required.
• CPR and QMAP certifications required, or ability to obtain within 30–60 days of hire.
• CPI preferred.
• Pursuing CAT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admits by following orientation steps and item cataloguing.
• Support treatment procedures and communicate with supervisors and clinicians.
• Align with Medical and Clinical team’s treatment plans for clients.
• Document client notes in appropriate systems and ensure engagement in programming.
• Facilitate group sessions and mentor new staff.
