Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (CNA I) to join our 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit at the South Campus. This in-person role supports patients with various mental health conditions and requires a compassionate, team-oriented approach.

You will identify patient needs, provide appropriate care, document medical records, and assist with activities of daily living as part of a collaborative care team focused on quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current state Nursing Assistant (NA) license is required.
• Completed NA course from an accredited school.
• Basic Life Support certification due within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient needs.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for activities of daily living.
