Job summary

Piedmont Medical Network - Rock Hill Hospital in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support licensed staff by delivering bedside care, taking vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living across patient populations from infant to geriatric.

You will document data in the chart, communicate with patients and the care team, and be ready to float to other units as needed; CPR/BLS certification required within 7 days, CPI certification within orientation.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Good therapeutic communication skills.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS CPR certification required, CPI certification required within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Checks patient’s blood sugar and documents results.
• Obtains vital signs and reports abnormalities.
• Performs ADLs and assists with feeding when indicated.
• Documents patient data in chart promptly.
• Communicates with patients and care team toward treatment goals.
• Floats to other nursing units as needed.
