Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support licensed staff and deliver compassionate care to patients across all ages. Under supervision, you will assist with treatments, procedures, and daily activities, ensuring safety and adherence to hospital policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and BCLS certification upon hire. CNA or PCT certification is preferred. No experience required, with 1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire.
• CNA or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
