Job summary

Qualifications

• CPI training completed before Orientation and maintained thereafter.
• BLS - Basic Life Support kept current during employment.
• Clearance with Level II Background Check and character affidavit.
• Orientation hours completed plus 12 hours of in-service training in year one.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Collaborate with RN and therapists to implement treatment plans.
• Document occurrences, behaviors, I&O (if ordered), and observations.
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the RN and team.
• Conduct group sessions with a preset agenda and monitor safety.
• Provide de-escalation techniques and therapeutic support as needed.
