Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Tech (CNA I) to support patients in an 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. This in-person role covers night shifts (3x12) on a rotating schedule, with weekends and holidays rotating.

You will identify patient needs, provide age-appropriate care, document medical information, and support activities of daily living. A current NA I license, CNA training, and BLS within 30 days are required; one year of

• Current state Nurse Aide I license.
• Completed CNA course from an accredited school.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient needs.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for activities of daily living.
