Job summary

Lifepoint Health in Hickory, NC is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant for our 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit on the South Campus. This PRN Day position supports patients in behavioral health crises alongside RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other staff to deliver quality, collaborative care.Applicants should hold a Nursing Assistant I license, complete an NA course, and obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NA I license in good standing.
• Completed NA course from an accredited school.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identifies patient needs.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
