Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center - A Duke LifePoint Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to join our 33-bed behavioral health unit serving adult and geriatric patients in Clyde, NC. You will assist with basic patient care under RN supervision and help maintain a safe and compassionate environment.

This full-time day shift role features a 7a-7p schedule with rotating weekends, opportunities for professional development through our comprehensive benefits package, and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Certifications: AHA BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Handle With Care training within 6 months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience with the population served or CNA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and record intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
