Centurion seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Lake Correctional Institution in Clermont, Florida. The role supports multidisciplinary treatment planning, implements interventions for patients with serious mental illness, and supervises daily activities.

Responsibilities include education on hygiene, meals, recreation, maintaining mental health records, and coordinating telepsychiatry appointments; requires a Bachelor's in Social Work/Sciences or related field, 2+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field.
• 2+ years' experience providing activities programming for patients with serious mental illness.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
• Must pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Competent with Excel to create and update scheduling databases.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings.
• Implement interventions for patients in a correctional mental health setting.
• Supervise patients and provide education in daily living activities (hygiene, eating, recreation).
• Provide care and activities programming as well as social rehabilitation and leisure activities.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Lake Correctional Institution located in Clermont, Florida.The Behavioral Health Technician participates in weekly multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implements interventions for patients in a correctional mental health/healthcare setting.
