Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader Behavioral Health to oversee admission assessments, discharge planning, and care coordination for patients in our behavioral health unit.

This full-time role requires strong leadership and collaboration across disciplines to ensure safe, effective patient care. The Team Leader will supervise staff, participate in treatment planning, and promote patient rights and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health nursing is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Initiates and completes initial admission assessments including education, discharge planning, and care plan within guidelines.
• Documents findings and patient outcomes according to procedures.
• Plans and coordinates nursing care activities for assigned patients.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and communicates treatment goals to staff.
