Job summary

Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee Inc is seeking a Behavioral Health Support Staff to provide behavioral, developmental, language, and communication support under supervision of a BCBA through the STAR Program. You will collaborate with classroom teams, families, and approved partners to strengthen children's communication and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in early childhood education, child development, psychology, communication sciences, special education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Two years minimum experience with young children; experience with language, development, social-emotional or behavioral needs preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral, developmental, communication, and language support to assigned children in various settings.
• Use developmentally appropriate strategies to support language, social interaction, and school readiness.
• Model and reinforce language-building, play, routines, and classroom interactions.
• Support classroom routines, transitions, meals, outdoor play, and daily activities.
• Apply positive behavior-support strategies to promote emotional regulation and safe participation.
• Follow STAR BCBA guidance and integrate into the child's support plan.
