Job summary

Marsell Wellness Center is seeking a Behavioral Specialist to provide Early Intervention and/or ABA therapy for children ages 0-17 and their families. You will educate caregivers on developmental needs, applying a family-centered approach with cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, setting SMART goals, and delivering positive behavior supports in diverse settings. Collaboration with the clinical team and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 1–2 years related experience.
• Spanish preferred but not required.
• Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Interview Unaccompanied Minors and others to collect data for assessments.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify causes and patterns of behavior.
• Identify SMART behavior goals and implement positive supports.
• Develop and apply ABA strategies under supervision in various settings.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support stabilization plans.
• Maintain regular communication and progress updates with the team.
• Complete documentation and ensure case records are compliant.
• Work independently with youth/families in homes, community or treatment settings.
• Provide on-call coverage as assigned.
• Other duties may be assigned.
