Zusammenfassung

Mountain Laurel Recovery Center in Kentucky seeks a Behavioral Health Associate I to support a multidisciplinary treatment team, monitor clients, and respond to crises. You will assist in data collection, conduct safety checks, supervise activities, and help group therapy and recreational activities.

This onsite role requires CPR and de-escalation training and offers competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience with the target population preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required or provided.

Aufgaben

• Ensures the wellbeing of clients in a safe, structured environment.
• Performs safety checks and supervises clients per guidelines.
• Documents client behavior, vital signs, and activities accurately.
• Facilitates group therapy and recreational activities to support treatment goals.
• Applies de-escalation techniques and responds to crises and medical emergencies.
• Assists with incident reports, transfers, and chart maintenance.
