Job summary

Mountain Laurel Recovery Center in Westfield, PA is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Associate I to provide daily client care, monitor safety, and support the treatment team in achieving individual goals.

You will conduct safety checks, assist with educational groups, take vital signs, document in client records, and respond to crises with de-escalation techniques; onsite role with opportunities to grow within the program.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience with the population preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required (training available upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Ensures wellbeing and provides a safe, structured environment.
• Conducts safety checks and monitors clients per guidelines.
• Interacts with clients, observes behaviors, and communicates observations to supervisor.
• Facilitates groups covering social skills, coping skills, and independent living.
• Takes vital signs and reports changes to charge nurse.
• Records client data accurately and timely.
