Job summary

Maplewood Treatment Solutions LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support treatment of clients with mental health concerns and substance abuse disorders. Responsibilities include conducting observational rounds, documenting progress, and coordinating with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma minimum.
• Experience: At least 1 year in substance abuse or related mental health setting.
• Skills/abilities: teamwork, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30 minutes Observational Rounds on clients.
• Safely transport clients in company vehicles.
• Document client progress per established policies.
• Share pertinent information with the treatment team from clients, family or others.
• Attend monthly staffing meetings.
• Assist in obtaining patient consent where appropriate.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and de-escalate situations.
• Assist with infection control and cleaning to maintain facility standards.
