Job summary

Brookdale Premier Addiction Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech I to support patients through the entire treatment experience from admission through discharge. The role focuses on patient safety, interventions, and leading psychoeducational groups while collaborating with clinical teams.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, CPI certification within 90 days, and CPR/AED/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver's License.
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire; training provided.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid training; provided.
• Substance Use Division: Minimum 1 year sobriety if in recovery.
• Eating Disorder Division: Minimum 1 year recovery from eating disorder if in recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support patients through the treatment experience from admission through discharge.
• Contribute to treatment planning with insightful, practical information.
• Provide patient interventions and lead psychoeducational groups.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality of information.
• Document shift notes and group notes accurately by end of shift.
• Assist Nursing staff with duties as directed and monitor patient activity.
• Attend staff meetings and complete online trainings.
