Job summary

Brookdale in Scotrun, PA is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech I to support patients throughout the treatment process. You will assist with daily activities, monitor safety, and contribute to treatment planning under clinical supervision.

Responsibilities include group support, patient supervision, hygiene, meals, and documenting shift notes. You will collaborate with nursing staff and uphold confidentiality, infection control, and facility policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License.
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire; CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications training provided.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all DBH policies and procedures.
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude.
• Provides exemplary customer service to all patients.
• Exhibits understanding and respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity.
• Follows directions from facility leadership.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and records; and of facility/company proprietary information.
• Facilitates patient daily needs per the program schedule (mealtimes, hygiene, etc.).
• Assists Nursing staff with duties (patient supervision, vitals, etc.).
• Recognizes, responds to, and assists in crisis situations and provides interventions as appropriate.
• Maintains an organized and safe environment and performs basic housekeeping duties.
• Observes infection control policies and proper hand hygiene.
• Completes online training and ensures HR file is up to date.
