Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority seeks a Behavioral Health Consultant Supervisor to lead a BH team within an integrated primary care setting in Cherokee, NC.

The role requires a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, active NC licensure (LCSW/LMHC), and a CDAC/LCAS credential, with at least two years of post‑graduate clinical experience. Duties include supervision, training, and coordination with Adult Services leadership.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, or counseling; or a PhD/PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology.
• Must be licensed in NC in a specific discipline (LCSW, LMHC, etc.).
• Completion of Alcohol and Drug credentialing (CDAC or LCAS) in NC.
• Two years of supervised clinical work at master’s level or two years post‑graduate experience for PhD/PsyD.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for medical credentialing.

Mansioni

• Supervise and train behavioral health consultants within the integrated care model.
• Provide behavioral health consultation to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Ensure SBIRT is completed and documented in the Electronic Health Record per policy.
• Address performance challenges per CIHA policy and lead staff development.
• Collaborate with the Adult Services Manager and CIHA leadership on program goals.
• Participate in after‑hours/on‑call rotation with BH clinicians.
• Assist in accreditation efforts with Joint Commission standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance across all patient records.
