Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Supervisor, Behavioral Health Specialist (Full Time, BED). The role combines leadership of Behavioral Health Specialists with direct patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

You will oversee onboarding, scheduling, and performance management while maintaining a therapeutic milieu and ensuring safety as part of a clinical team. Eligible applicants should have a relevant clinical background, Safe Clinch certification, fingerprint

Qualifications

• 5 years of behavioral health or related experience.
• 1 year of supervisory and/or Lead experience.
• Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Certified in Safe Clinch.
• Experience in inpatient behavioral health settings.
• Vaccination policy compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Behavioral Health Specialist staff; onboarding, training, scheduling, timesheets and performance management.
• Direct care duties 75-80% of time, performing BHS duties.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse and clinical leadership to ensure safe unit operations.
• Provide clinical supervision with Lead BHS on shifts and ensure JC standards compliance.
• Lead shift meetings and address performance concerns with staff.
