Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Supervisor, Behavioral Health Specialist to lead a team of Behavioral Health Specialists and deliver direct care on the unit. You will supervise, train, and schedule staff while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include onboarding staff, conducting performance reviews, maintaining staffing levels, and collaborating with clinical leadership to provide high-quality crisis care.

Qualifications

• 5 years of behavioral health or related experience.
• 1 year of supervisory and/or Lead experience.
• Inpatient setting experience preferred.
• Certified in Safe Clinch.
• Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy.

Responsibilities

• Direct care duties on the unit while supervising staff.
• Onboard and train new hires, manage scheduling and timesheets.
• Maintain staffing to meet census and patient ratios.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on shift.
• Lead shift meetings and performance coaching.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse and clinical leadership.
• Oversee training on safe clinch and seclusion techniques.
• Complete monthly drills and debriefs.
