Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks a Principal Program Manager, Clinical to lead behavioral health strategy and programs. You’ll partner with clinical and business teams to advance quality improvement and regulatory initiatives across lines of business.

You will guide a portfolio of projects, drive changes with multiple stakeholders, and help shape integrated care models in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or GED with 4 years additional relevant experience or completion of an accredited program.
• Unrestricted CA license (RN, PA, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or PsyD) required.
• 10+ years of prior relevant experience in quality programs, health plan ops, or similar.
• Experience across behavioral healthcare from multiple perspectives (vendor, payer, clinical, etc.).
• Ability to drive sustainable change across stakeholders and initiatives.
• Vendor/product development and management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of work and lead projects with internal partners for continuous quality improvement.
• Support NCQA, regulatory, and mandate programming in behavioral health.
• Collaborate with clinical and business partners to improve member/provider experiences.
