Job summary

Responsibilities

Assists interdisciplinary treatment team in patient assessments and development of goal-directed treatment.
Completes admission assessments (excluding nursing components) and assists in admissions.
Ensures compliance with legal components of admissions and patient rights; handles releases of information.
Maintains knowledge of advanced directives and scores assessment scales per protocol.
Participates in clinical staffing and communicates pertinent information to the team.
Develops, reviews, and revises the care plan for assigned patients; completes documentation.
Creates and maintains a therapeutic milieu to ensure a safe, caring environment.
De-escalates patients using CPI techniques; monitors and documents when restraints are used as required.
Provides group and individual therapies and supports education sessions per patient plan.
