SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Demonstrates competency with interventions and clinical judgment based on unit population and age-specific needs. Delivery of a variety of mental health treatment modalities, including psycho-educational groups, milieu management, and behavior modification strategies. Provides assistance to the primary nurse in management of patient needs and support services for effective completion of daily routine.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years of experience
  • AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
  • PA Act 31 Child Abuse Training Certificate.
